'Maxthon has blocked an error' (urlmon.exe)

Maxthon Has Blocked An Error" is how I am often greeted when first openning Maxthon from a link, the culprit appears to consistantly be 'urlmon.exe', causing Maxthon to close. Sometimes this will happen several times in a row, other times not at all, but in eaither case often enough to be a major nuisence.

Can anyone help?
